St. Patrick's Day

To celebrate we went to the Arizona Science Center to see this exhibit.

Where we saw things like this.

I thought it was pretty neat. David felt like he was back in anatomy class at BYU. I wish it would have been a larger exhibit with more to see, and a little more interactive. Maybe if we would have paid for the audio tour we would of had more of that interactive feeling. Overall, it was pretty cool.

After Body World's we were starving. On our way home we stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. This was my first time eating at The Cheesecake Factory surprisingly. It was good. We had the original cheesecake for dessert and it was really good. Mmmmm, I love cheesecake.

Second day at my new job and what do I do...I sprain my ankle.

It's not even a good story, but it did earn me the title "The new girl that tripped." When I went in to the hospital to get x-rays the tech asked me what happened. I told her that I tripped in the File Room. She replied, "Oh, that was you?!" She wasn't even there when my accident happened and she knew about it!

Night of my accident. Notice the big bump on my left foot?

Then it went from this...
 To this...
The doctor said that based on all of the bruising it means I tore a couple of my ligaments. Great.

The bruising is almost completely gone. I don't have to use crutches anymore. It doesn't swell up too much anymore either. However, it still hurts. I will have to continue wearing my brace for a few months to help give it support.

Lover's Day

I had to be at work in the AM + David being at work in the PM = us not seeing each other for over 13 hours on Valentine's Day! I also got sick at work, which did not make my afternoon any better. (No, I'm not pregnant. You'll have to wait like 5 more years for that post.) However, by night time I was feeling a little better and David came home with these beautiful roses! He is such a great husband. Thanks David!

I made a special little dinner of bruschetta and pesto chicken. Then we enjoyed some strawberry shortcake while watching Michael Jackson's, "This is It." All in all, it was a pretty great Valentine's Day...if you don't include anything before 10:30 pm. Ha ha.

New Job!

After applying and interviewing for this company for a year they finally let me in!Source
I will be a Digital Imaging Clerk in Radiology at Banner Desert Medical Center. This is the same hospital that David works at. In fact we will be working right next to each other.

So basically I will be storing, processing, printing, and creating CDs of x-rays, MRI's, CAT Scans, etc. for the patients and doctors. I'm really excited because I will be working a more "grown-up" job, in a hospital again, in Radiology which I love, and I get to work close to David!
